We’re officially 24(ish) hours out from the launch of my self-tanner and first + LUX UNFILTERED product, Nº32. Holy shit! If you’ve been following along with on Instagram, you know that this product has completely taken over my life the past few months. I’m sharing more about the story behind Nº32 tomorrow (launch day!), but for now, I wanted to tackle questions I’ve received leading up. + Can you apply it to your face?
I wouldn’t recommend it. It was designed as a rich cream for your body so it’s most likely too heavy for your face. Don’t worry… face formulation is currently in the works.
+ How long does it take for the color to develop?
You’ll see a healthy color and glow after one application. It might be subtle, but you’ll definitely look natural. The more you use the product, the more your color builds and develops.
I recommend using Nº32 for 4-5 days to see how long it takes to achieve your desired color. After that, use it every other day to maintain your tan.
+ Does it have a scent?
Moroccan Rose. One of my biggest issues with self-tanner is smelling like cat pee. I made sure this didn’t happen with Nº32.
+ Is this lotion clear? Is it easy to see if you’re getting an even application?
It’s white. Treat it exactly like you would a regular body cream. Apply an even layer all over to get the most even tan.
+ Will it transfer to sheets or clothing?
I wait 5-10 minutes before putting on clothes. I like to apply in the a.m. so my tan can develop and set evenly during the day. No interference of sheets or sweat. However, if you do apply at night, just wait for it to fully dry before getting into bed. Ideally, wait 8 hours before showering.
+ What’s the significance of Nº32?
Sharing more on that tomorrow (hint: it’s my 32nd birthday tomorrow).
+Is there a glove or mit needed?
F*ck mits, no. Use your hands. You’ll have more control over the product. Just wash with soap and water after to avoid staining your hands.
+ Is it non-toxic?
Yes. Non-toxic, cruelty-free and vegan.
+ Is it safe to use during pregnancy?
I developed and used it while pregnant with Capri, but definitely check with your doctor (like most pregnancy questions).
+ How long does one bottle last?
I’ve used the same bottle for 2-3 months.
+ Is it going to be available online or only at the pop-up?
Both! Online tomorrow, and pop-up starting on Nov. 9th. Speaking of…

The Grand Opening Weekend is Nov 9-10 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
+ What are the times and dates it’s open?
Every Saturday and Sunday in November starting the 9th, from 11-5. Dates: November 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30.
