Sheet Masks I Love

Sheets masks are quite possibly the greatest skincare invention ever. It’s for us lazy people who want good skin but can’t be bothered to go through all the trouble of applying a creamy mask with a brush, wait, and then rinse off with a warm, wet washcloth. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I absolutely do those masks too, but a sheet mask could happen pretty much daily for me because of the convenience. There’s no extra tools necessary and no real cleanup. Just rub in the excess product and you’re good to go. Pretty fab, no?!

I’ve acquired quite the collection of sheet masks and have been lucky to try many, many, many different ones. Just like eye masks, I really feel like you can’t go wrong with them. However, I do find that some adhere to the skin better than others. Sometimes sheet masks are too heavy or made out of a wipe-like material that basically slips off your face and that kind of annoys me. Also, sometimes they don’t really line up with your eyes / nose / mouth so you’re stuck without nostrils or speaking for 15 minutes and that annoys me too. A lot of times you just won’t know until you try it but thankfully (for you guys) I’ve tried so many that I can steer you in the right direction.

Things I look for in a sheet mask: hydrating, brightening, cell renewing, & collagen restoring. Not all in one, of course. I don’t particularly use ones geared towards acne (since I don’t exactly suffer from that, just the occasional zit) or ones that are called “detox.” I just find those to be a little too harsh on my sensitive skin. Not saying those won’t be good for you, it just depends on your skin type. I love a silicone sheet mask that is thick and feels like a suction cup on your face– Lancome makes one and it legit feels like it’s sucking all the toxins out of my skin while injecting all the good stuff. You’ll look de-puffed, too.

I’ve linked a bunch of different sheet masks I’m into in the shopping area of this post. There’s a variety of price points, brands, types, etc. All are masks I’ve tried and loved. If you have any questions about a specific one feel free to leave it down below in the comments.
