Mad Hatter Tea Party

England

I’m not really a tea person. My version of drinking tea is a grande iced chai with soy from Starbucks, and even that is more coffee based. So when Paul asked if I wanted to do a high tea while in London I was a little skeptical. I knew it would be too cute for words and all but I was expecting to be less than impressed with the actual food and drink I would be consuming. Let me tell you, when someone brings you perfume scented tea you will like it. I opted for the strawberry shortcake tea and enjoyed a tower of goodies that were all edible. The Sanderson Hotel (where the tea was held) puts a little Alice in Wonderland spin on the whole ordeal making every part picture-worthy, such as the little “Drink Me” potions they serve. I strongly suggest doing a high tea while in London for an unforgettable experience. And I know what you are thinking, we weren’t the only adults in there…
