OFFICE CHIC ATTIRE

Offic Chic Style

Despite not working in a traditional office or 9 to 5 (it’s more like 7:30AM to 10:30PM with a few bursts of procrastination in between), I did come from what some call a ‘desk job’ that required me to dress more on the professional, office chic side. Today I still have to get dressed “for work” anytime I have a meeting, as I don’t think they would appreciate my blogging attire–oversized tee’s & sweat pants. On those days I really enjoy looking and feeling polished & put together, or office chic as they call it, since it’s not the norm for me anymore.

I’ve received some messages from readers about cute office looks and so out of all the different ways you can dress for the office, here is my go to look. I’ve always been more of a dress or jumpsuit girl since the outfit is done, no thinking required. I find them comfortable and a loose fit is a bonus so you can eat your lunch without worrying about the whole unbuttoning your pants thing in public (that’s when a loose / long sweater comes in handy if you’re wearing pants to work). Trust me, I’ve done it all.

I’ve teamed up with Lulus to share a favorite office chic look, and if you’re into this dress you’ll love all the curated office picks they currently have on their site. And let’s be real, no one wants to blow their paycheck on office clothes (save it for the weekend clothes, duh), so I’ve made sure to share affordable work attire so your hard-earned dollars can be blown on Sunday mimosas and frivolous travel. Aside from dresses, I also like a skinny jean, a loose button-down (or up?), with booties & a thin belt. Classic & easy. Let me know if you guys want to see more office chic looks!
