Watermelon Cucmber Margarita
Summer is officially here! I feel like I wait all year for this season because it means permanent tans, rosé without guilt, and easy outfit choices. And of course, cocktails for absolutely NO reason! I had to make that part clear since I invited my friend and lifestyle blogger Devon Rachel over on a Tuesday for some margaritas. Then again, Devon is probably the only girl I know that would be down for some impromptu cocktailing (knew I liked her for a reason!).

With temps already hitting triple digits here in the Valley, a refreshing, COLD drink is actually pretty necessary. Nothing sounds more refreshing to me than watermelon, cucumber, and mint. Am I right? So why not add a little tequila, line that rim with some tajin or salt and there you go!

Now I have to be honest, when Devon & I first attempted to make this (as you’ll see in the video below), I added 6oz of tequila!!! Not sure how I got the number so wrong but between the strength of the alcohol and the supreme saltiness on the rim, we were anything but graceful while taking our first sips. However, I promise you we gave it another shot with the correct ratios and it was beyond yummy.

That looks sooo good! I’ll need to try this next Tuesday. This year the hub and I decided not to hit any BBQ’s and instead hang out just the two of us BBQing and drinking and hanging out in the backyard with our little doggie. This will be perfect for day drinking!
    Thanks… for sharing.
