VIDEO: FESTIVAL MAKEUP + OUTFITS

So, just got back from Weekend 1–otherwise known as, Coachella–and I’m still recovering. Yep, you read that right. It’s been an entire week but I just feel so drained. I finally managed to pull it together and film a quick makeup video for anyone who might be heading to the desert this weekend for round 2. However, this look works well for just about any festival since the climates tend to be on the hotter / drier side of things.

As you’ll see in the video, I take a couple extra steps in the skincare department before diving in the makeup to really prep my face for the day. Locking in moisture is crucial when you’re out in the sun all day, and you’d rather have clean ingredients penetrating your skin rather than your makeup.

Sidenote, the 2 Lancome products I use before getting started are a little on the pricey side, but if you’re looking to step up your skincare regime, as well as fight signs of aging, these two are my favorite.
