FAMILY DINNER PLAYLIST

It’s about that time when TV commercials and department stores prematurely start with the holiday music. Believe me when I say I love a good Christmas tune in the middle of summer (hey, some of them are really good!), but there’s just something kind of annoying listening to the same 30 good ones on repeat for a solid month. Am I alone in this?

I’ve received numerous requests for more playlists since I’m usually playing music in the background of my snaps (they aren’t planned, btw, I just always have music playing), and so I figured why not put together a playlist you could use for the many family dinners you have coming up. I know not everyone is down with Christmas music so early so below you will find family-approved songs that work if there will be kids, “elders,” and of course peeps our age.

Whenever I’m hosting a family dinner I always struggle with the music selection since my usual playlists don’t necessarily appeal to everyone, so I’ve reverted back to the classics. You really can’t go wrong sticking to certain eras (primarily 60’s & 70’s). They are uplifting, light, familiar, and best of all, no one will complain!

If you’re on Spotify, you can follow this playlist (+ more). Search for me: Sivan Ayla Richards.
