TIME TO PARTY

Holiday parties are some of my favorite to attend. The glitz, glamour, champagne, decorations, everything is just more magical when that cheeriness is in the air. Ok, I’ll stop being exceptionally cheesy now. But really though, I love a good holiday party. It also gives me a reason to bust out the [faux] fur and LBDs (little black dress, for those of you living under a rock) that pitifully sit in the closet all year. I’m guessing most of you are finding that a little ridic, considering the LBD is supposed to be a timeless classic that can be worn year-round, but I tend to wear them more during the holidays.

I’m also a stickler for finding a LBD that isn’t your typical silhouette. When I discovered this LBD by Lace & Whiskey I knew instantly it needed to be mine–NOT sitting around in the closet, but paraded around town. So, I did the exact opposite of what I just said I always do. I wore it out. Not to a holiday party. And it was pretty fabulous! I guess what they say is really true: once you open your mind to other views, you might just find yourself wearing a LBD on a random Tuesday.
