Top Gun

I don’t usually buy graphic tees but amidst my desperation for some fresh socks in New York I was forced to scour the endless levels of Forever 21 in search of clean footwear. I never did buy socks but I came out with a $5 mesh t-shirt, neon braided necklace, and this Top Gun tank. Something about it just resonated with me–maybe watching it over and over with my mom as a kid did it. This weekend I found myself wearing it with denim cutoffs to the pool (yes, it was that hot in LA this weekend), with sweats to lounge around the house, and then with black skinnys, as seen above and below. When a shirt gets this many wears in one weekend I can confidently say it was a $13 well spent (hey, less than $5 per wear is practically free, right?).
